My Journey of Faith and Service Greetings in Christ!
I am Fr. Rajasekhar Dasari, originally from the village of Gadikota in Andhra Pradesh, and I am honored to serve as an ordained priest for the Diocese of Bettiah, Bihar. By the grace of God, I have completed six years of priesthood, and I wish to share a brief reflection on my journey of faith and service.
Education
My educational journey began in my home village. I attended KLR High School, Gadikota for my early years (Classes 1 to 7), followed by RCM School, Donakonda (Classes 8 to 10). I furthered my studies at Government College, Kanigiri for my intermediate courses, and later earned a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) degree from VRC College, Nellore.
Ordination
My calling to the priesthood was confirmed when I was ordained a Deacon on December 8, 2017. After a period of deep spiritual formation and service, I was blessed to be ordained a Priest on April 9, 2018. This day marked the beginning of my sacred ministry, and I have been grateful for every moment of service since then.
Ministry and Service
Since my ordination, I have had the privilege of serving in various capacities within the Diocese of Bettiah. Here is an overview of my ministry:
• First Year: I began my ministry at Bhitaha Mission School as the School Secretary, where I gained experience in educational administration, helping the school thrive in both academics and moral development.
• Second & Third Years: I was appointed as the Principal of St. Xavier Mission School, Rampur, where I dedicated myself to fostering the growth of young minds, focusing on academic excellence and personal integrity.
• Fourth Year: I continued my educational work as the Principal of St. Teresa Girls’ Middle School, Chakhani, where I worked passionately to empower young women through education, providing them with the tools they need to succeed in life.
• Fifth Year: My journey then took me to St. Joseph School, Lauriya, where I again served as Principal, continuing to uphold high standards in education while instilling moral values in the students.
Throughout these years, my work has always been centered on service to God and the community, especially through education. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to help shape the lives of many young people and to serve the Church. It is with humility and joy that I continue to carry out my priestly ministry, trusting that God’s grace will guide me in all I do.
May God bless you all,
